PREMISE: Unyielding confrontations of traditional social norms - both on spiritual & the sexually explicit ~ the character's excursions embark on a journey past the mundane nonsenses of life. Ruminatively, it is a battering wedge slipping between base, horrific, and stimulative, providing a wholly new reading experience. As Elena collides with elements of the supernatural, she finds herself entering a realm in which dread and pleasure may coexist together. Spiritual molestation takes one beyond the physical realm, causing people both fear and ecstasy, whilst the macabre theme finds a place in an ingenious tone that captivates readers on several levels. Carrying the plot forward, readers explore a world of true, unspeakable human desire and the supernatural with shadows symbolizing liberation rather than fear: Elena and her entourage flout the constraints society places around them, triumph as the darkness fades, and then catch sight of beauty hidden behind its curtains.
